Access Scaffolding for Residential Re-roof Project, Winchester

Cat Scaffolding successfully completed a full access scaffold installation to support a residential re-roofing project in Winchester.

The works involved the erection of scaffolding to a block of residential flats, providing safe and secure access to roof level for the duration of the roofing programme. Due to the property’s position on a gradual incline, careful planning was required to ensure stability, safe access and consistent working platforms across varying ground levels.

A fully boarded walkway was installed around the top elevation of the building to provide safe roof access for contractors. Two working platforms were constructed to support different phases of the roof works, alongside integrated safety access ladders to ensure controlled and compliant movement throughout the structure.

The scaffold was designed to provide efficient roof access while maintaining safety for residents and operatives during the re-roof works.
